Qualifications
· National Diploma (NQF 6/10) in Safety Management
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience
- Proven auditing experience
- Proven management review experience
- Good knowledge and understanding of the risk management process
- Good knowledge and understanding of the SHERQ Training process (including FPS)
- Good knowledge of the business processes and products
- Good Knowledge and understanding of the following systems/disciplines is essential: ISO 9001 Standard ISO 45001 Standard (including FPS) ISO 31000 Standard RCA Process Legal and other requirements with regards to compliance matters
- Trend analysis and action-based orientation
- ISO 9001 Standard

Job key performance areas
- Close liaison with Executive Management; Senior Management and Plant Management
- Reporting on internal and external audits
- Report on effectiveness of SHERQ Management Systems
- Adhere to all legal and other compliance requirements
- Technical support and development of SHERQ Management Systems
- Report on effectiveness of the SHERQ Management system and make recommendations for improvement, and closing the loop
- Monitor workplace to ensure safe conditions are in place and maintained
- Track, monitor and report on compliance of SHERQ training
- Verify effectiveness of audit findings and mitigation actions taken, act as an expert to close out findings and mitigations
- Verify effectiveness of risk management process
- Facilitate Annual SHERQ Management Review Process
- Act as Lead Auditor during internal, cross business and contractor audits
- Verify effectiveness of SHERQ strategies
- Verify effectiveness of HCS management process
- Facilitate the Shop Floor Audit Process and ensure loop is closed
