Who are We?
Our mission is to provide transformative legal services to achieve and secure a thriving future to the immigrant community. This a law firm run by immigrants to serve immigrants. The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to help change people’s lives. Quiroga Law Office, PLLC has offices in Washington State and Nevada, and we have been recognized as one of the fastest growing law firms by Law Firm 500. In recent years, we have also been recognized by INC 5000 as one of the fastest growing businesses in the United States. At the Quiroga Law Office, PLLC, we care for our employees and are committed to personal and professional development. Your New Role:
As a Project Manager at Quiroga Law Office, you will lead the Enforcement unit. You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all activities related to the enforcement and compliance of policies of the firm. Your role will be essential in ensuring that all processes are carried out efficiently and effectively, meeting established deadlines and legal requirements.
The focus of this position is to establish connections with people, motivating and inspiring them to achieve results. A balanced, captivating, and empathetic communication style based on natural warmth and enthusiasm is key to achieving the objectives of this role. The work involves drive to achieve results, involving the commitment and consensus of others. While this position requires strong initiative and self-direction, results are only achieved with and through people. Genuine appreciation for individuals and their unique motivations forms the foundation for designing and implementing interactive communication processes and decision-making. Knowledge and skills in successfully influencing and persuading others, understanding how their needs and motivations relate to the objectives, are essential.
The environment in which the position operates is fast-paced and results-oriented. While there is urgency in achieving objectives, responsibility for delivering results should be shared and effectively delegated when necessary. Initiating projects and processes beyond established organizational practices often requires training and developing others, seeking their support using a "selling" communication style rather than simply informing them. A confident and outgoing style that can encourage, engage, and have a positive impact on individuals and groups is essential.
The position has a variety of tasks and is dynamic and ever-changing. As objectives and desired results can quickly change, the position requires regular meetings and proactive relationship-building with new groups. The ability to understand, react quickly, and motivate others to adapt to the changing organizational environment is a crucial factor for success.
Overall, the core of this role requires a team builder who can motivate themselves and others, as well as an organization developer.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Project management: Plan, execute, and oversee projects related to company policies. Define project goals, timelines, resources, and deliverables. Regularly track progress and ensure that established milestones are met.
- Team coordination: Lead and coordinate the Enforcement team, consisting of lawyers, legal assistants, and support staff. Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure that all team members have clarity on their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Compliance supervision: Ensure compliance with company policy. Supervise case reviews, verify required documentation, and ensure that all procedures are conducted in accordance with established standards.
- Resource management: Coordinate and allocate the necessary resources to efficiently carry out Enforcement tasks. This includes personnel, budget, technology, and any other resources needed to fulfill project goals and objectives.
- Communication and collaboration: Facilitate effective communication among different teams and departments within the law firm. Collaborate closely with legal, client services, and administrative teams to ensure smooth coordination and successful project execution.
- Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in Enforcement processes and procedures. Propose and implement efficient solutions that optimize productivity and work quality.
- Risk management: Evaluate and manage risks associated with the Enforcement unit. Anticipate potential issues and take preventive measures to mitigate them. Stay informed about changes in immigration laws and ensure that the team is up to date and compliant with all regulations.
- Reporting and analysis: Prepare performance reports, metrics, and data analysis related to Enforcement projects. Present reports to firm management and provide recommendations based on the results obtained.
- As a Project Manager in the Enforcement unit at Quiroga Law Office, your main objective will be to ensure effective compliance with immigration laws in the United States, leading a dedicated team and ensuring quality in the provision of legal services. Your ability to plan, coordinate, and execute projects will be critical to the unit's success and the achievement of the company's strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Project management experience: Prior experience in successfully managing projects, preferably in the legal field or related to immigration, is required. Having a proven track record of successful project delivery and goal achievement can be beneficial.
- Leadership skills: Strong leadership skills are expected to lead and motivate the Enforcement team. The ability to assign tasks, set priorities, and foster a culture of collaboration and high performance is important.
