A SoC/IP Verification Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and correctness of digital and IP or SoC designs.
This includes developing and executing verification plans, creating testbenches, implementing and debugging test cases, and analyzing and reporting verification results.
The engineer collaborates with design and integration teams to resolve issues and ensure that the design meets the overall system requirements.
They continuously improve the verification process by adopting new methodologies, tools, and best practices, and by providing feedback to the design and integration teams.
The qualifications for this role include a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field, experience in digital and verification, and strong knowledge of verification methodologies and tools such as SystemVerilog, UVM, and simulation tools.
The ability to work in a team, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail are also important qualities for this role
