Job Description


New Store Coordinator
manages and coordinates the successful execution of all new store openings, remodels, and relocations within SKECHERS IT. The candidate is primarily responsible for new store project coordination, including communications within IT, client business partners, and third party vendors. This position will require working closely with other areas of IT to coordinate the involvement of their resources, and to ensure deliverables meet the requirement for all new store openings and remodel/relocation projects. This role will be responsible for all Skecher’s company-owned stores globally. This is a non-supervisory role.

JOB REQUIREMENTS-

  • Experience with Project Management including management of vendor and business resources
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to prioritize based on evolving business needs
  • Detail and Results Oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Highly Organized
  • Strong skills with Project Management software and MS Office Suite
  • Experience with ServiceNow and Atlassian Platform (Jira, Confluence)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little direct supervision.
  • Ability to follow-up and escalate to management as needed
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting for complex projects/programs
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate schedules of IT and business partners globally
  • Ability to travel, including internationally, to create a unified set of store processes and standards

Qualifications


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE-

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, or other IT related discipline.
  • 7 years of experience providing administrative and operational support to projects, preferably within the IT field.
  • 5 years of experience in project management, overseeing the completion of cross-company objectives.
  • 2 years of process improvement experience, developing streamlined business and technical solutions.
  • 2 years of experience working in a Retail Company, preferably with a large number of locations both domestically and globally.

The salary range for this position is $95,000-$125,000/year.
