NOM Maternity was launched in 1998 in a small boutique called Naissance on Melrose. Pioneering fashion-forward maternity wear, NOM sold trendy clothes to expecting (and often famous) Los Angeles moms. In 2015, after inheriting Seattle-based Village Maternity from her mother, Anna Capretto, a New York fashion veteran and mama of two littles, decided to add NOM Maternity to the mix. Fusing the legacies of a Hollywood trailblazer with her mother’s own beloved, trusted brand, NOM was born again—this time with a distinct focus on timeless maternity essentials and sustainability. We want mamas to feel good in their clothes while feeling good about their clothes too!

The Job:
We are looking for a Bookkeeper to work closely with the NOM Operations Director to manage Quickbooks, A/R, A/P and reconciliations. We’re looking for smart, organized, empathetic and positive people who thrive on solving puzzles. The ideal candidate is someone that is driven, has a passion for helping others, and is able to work independently while also collaborating remotely with team members.
Responsibilities:
Manage Quickbooks for NOM & Village Maternity (our brick and mortar business)
Manage payroll and vacation days for NOM & Village Maternity (every two weeks)
Set up new employees in ADP and register with state government agencies
Manage reconciliation for NOM and VM
Manage COGs and A/R and A/P for NOM
End of month reports for tax purposes
Supplier payments - NOM
Rent payment - Village maternity
Learn to navigate ERP systems
Qualifications:
· Experience with Quickbooks, running reports and reconciling information
·Extreme attention to detail
· Must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week during business hours of 8am – 5pm
· A strong and reliable internet connection is a must
· Experience working remotely
This job requires approximately 10 hrs a week and the schedule is flexible (Ex. We are open to helping you create a schedule that works for you. We can accommodate school drops off / pick ups etc.)
STARTING SALARY: $10 - $14 per hour
Job Type: Contract
Pay: 10.00€ - 14.00€ per hour
